Production

The movie was shot at Moviecity. According to director Kannan Iyer, leopards entered the sets during shooting. The uninvited guest was later apparently shooed away.

Marketing

The very unique marketing campaign was carried out by the producer Ekta Kapoor for the promotion of this movie. She produced a mini-series aired on the channel Life OK titled Ek Thi Naayika starring the top actress of Indian Television from her path-breaking shows, including Smriti Irani, Sakshi Tanwar, Shweta Tiwari, Aamna Shariff, Mouli Ganguly, Ankita Lokhande, Kritika Kamra and Pooja Gaur.

Promotion

The first trailer of the movie was released along with Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola. The trailer received positive response from the critics. Within 14 hours of its launch on YouTube, the trailer had 47,174 views. The second promo was unveiled on the Bigg Boss 6 finale on 12 January 2013, with Emraan Hashmi and the producer Ekta Kapoor visiting the sets to release the trailer.

A song named Yaaram sung by Sunidhi Chauhan & Clinton Cerejo has been released on 12 March 2013 by Sony Music India
